Important Notes on Taxation Methods
Currently, U.S. Customs may adopt one of the following two taxation methods:
- Ad Valorem Tax: Customs duties are calculated based on the declared value of the package.
2. Specific Duty: A fixed fee is charged based on the number of items in the package (e.g., $75 per shipment).
At present, the prepayment of duties is calculated based on the ad valorem tax method, with a duty rate of 145%. In case of any special circumstances, the logistics provider will handle it according to the “overpayment and underpayment” principle (final results depend on customs clearance).
Please note: This guide applies only to the “ad valorem tax” method.

3. At checkout, the system will display a $25 shipping fee. However, you can use the promo code “89shipping” to waive the shipping fee.

Why Payment is Split into Two Transactions:
To help you minimize customs duties, we will set the declared value of the package to $30. This is a common and reasonable practice in international e-commerce, which helps reduce the amount of duties you need to pay.
To make the $30 declared value more credible to customs, we need a transaction of $30 to substantiate the declared value.
Therefore, we kindly ask you to make two payments:
The first payment of $30 (to support the declared value).
The second payment of $13.5 (to cover the remaining duties).
The total prepaid customs duty is approximately $43.5.
Important Reminders:
If you do not follow this procedure, the system may default to declaring the full order value, which could result in higher customs duties.
If you prefer to wait, you may choose to delay shipping and check if future customs policies will change (but there is no guarantee whether the duty will be canceled or reduced).
